Dubai, United Arab Emirates – ServeU, the facilities management company, continues to pioneer the soft FM industry with the latest innovations to the region’s facilities industry. Serve U’s latest project sees the introduction of robotic automated cleaning devices from Canadian robotics firm, Avidbots.
Around 60 employees from the company attended the event, collecting non-biodegradable waste and other litter from the Dubai’s Umm Suqeim Beach.
Aimed at highlighting the importance of environmental protection, this pilot project is part of the company’s CSR commitment to the Year of Zayed initiative, which focuses on sustainability as one of its key values.
ServeU is strengthening its CSR efforts this year, targeting to launch a new initiative every two months or at least one project every quarter.
This is in line with its strategy directed primarily towards the development of a new growth era for the company.
Sohail Ausaf, chief operations officer, ServeU said: “Corporate citizenship is an integral part of our business. As a leading facilities services provider, we recognise that we are in a unique position to create a positive impact on society.
“More than promoting awareness on environmental issues, we also hope to nurture a culture of responsibility in nature protection and conservation through this beach clean-up drive,” Ausaf added
